AGM batteries are a type of VRLA deep cycle battery. These batteries have several applications. AGM batteries are often used in caravans, but they can be quite versatile in nature. A lot of jet-propelled skis and motorbikes use AGM batteries due to their suitable construction. The electrolytes within the AGM battery are held in place by glass fibres that are woven into a mat-like structure, which prevents the liquid from escaping.
